1965 Chevrolet C-10 Custom
This truck, an original 127-inch wheelbase Fleetside, is the product of a full-fledged restoration effort.
The C-10 sits on a period-correct K-20, ¾ ton, 4-wheel drive chassis.
The truck is powered by the original 292 cubic-inch Inline 6-cylinder that is paired to a 4-speed transmission. Both the engine and the transmission have been rebuilt.
The odometer shows 913 miles.
The manual 4-wheel drive system is fully functional.
After being professionally refinished, the exterior of the truck now boasts a beautiful red and white color scheme.
The red and white color scheme continues to the super clean interior of the truck. The bench seat shows well with custom upholstery that pairs well with the painted dash and the carpet floor covering. The interior continues to please as it is home to a functional gauge cluster and a functional heating system.
Found under the hood is a clean and simple engine compartment that is home to the smooth-running Inline 6 that has been professionally refinished as well. The Inline 6 is supported by a new battery, new hoses, new wires, new cables, and a new radiator.
Both the interior and exterior of the truck are home to numerous new parts that allow this truck to look as good as it does. These parts include new bumpers, new trim pieces, new sill plates, and more!
The truck rolls smoothly on brand new 16-inch, 8-lug, polished aluminum Ion wheels that are wrapped in brand new Mickey Thompson Baja ATZ tires. The tire size at all 4 corners is 315/75/16.
The bed of the truck is home to a color-matched spray-in bed liner and a diamond plate floor.
Like the body, the underside of the truck is super solid and home to new shocks, among other components.
The truck is accompanied by 2 pieces of the original literature, including the owner’s manual and the booklet that still carries the original protect-o-plate.
The truck is a consistent provider of worry-free enjoyment and utility. The trucks runs, rides, and drives great while turning heads on every trip out of the garage. As you likely know, these trucks are becoming increasingly harder to find, especially in this condition. I have a variety of cars and trucks over the years and this truck may very well be my favorite
